Before treatment
After treatment

Animals on the whole accept needling very well, and in fact may become very relaxed.
Occasionally animals become very tired or drowsy for up to 24 hours after treatment.

Acupuncture may only be performed by a veterinary surgeon, with a thorough knowledge of veterinary anatomy and physiology.

Many insurance companies will cover acupuncture treatment costs, so please check your pet or equine policy.

Certain conditions are more responsive to acupuncture and view in conditions treatable by species to find out more.
