The ABVA currently has approximately 300 members. The annual membership fee is £70 and you can download the application form here. We hold our annual Spring meeting at the pre-BSAVA Birmingham Congress (we are affiliated with the BSAVA).

We are also affiliated to the International Veterinary Acupuncture Society (IVAS). IVAS members receive quarterly newsletters and an annual journal, as well as notification of international meetings about veterinary acupuncture and related topics. In addition, we have close links with British Medical Acupuncture Society (BMAS) and, in the past, we have held joint meetings. All members of ABVA receive FREE online access to the BMAS journal, Acupuncture in Medicine, as part of their membership.
