Advanced Course in Veterinary Acupuncture Module One
This module introduces the ABVA course from the current medical and physiological understanding of acupuncture. Veterinary acupuncture in the West is a relatively new practice and one that has evolved with a marked divergence from the traditional Chinese veterinary medicine (TCVM) experience. Great debates over the validity of Western medical and veterinary acupuncture exist particularly with reference to the theoretical basis of acupuncture effects. On completion of this module practitioners should feel safe and competent to treat a wide variety of conditions in domestic animals.
